SUPERVISOR: Facilities Manager, Graham Moriarty
SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday through Friday typical, some nights or weekends
SALARY: $782.25 per week ($40,677 annually)
Position Summary
The Facilities Associate is a part of a team that maintains 30 acres of buildings and grounds that allow for and encourages the operation of the Company throughout its busy, year-round operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- General building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, light carpentry and painting;
- Basic mechanical system maintenance;
- Vehicle and equipment maintenance;
- Some operation of vehicles, power and heavy equipment;
- General grounds-keeping, mowing, and weeding;
- Trail, walkway and road maintenance;
- Ordering and maintaining supplies;
- Assistance with company activities’ and programs’ set up and clean up;
- On-site trash hauling and recycling;
- Working to ensure buildings are in a safe and sanitary condition when occupied, and secure when unoccupied;
- Participation in D.E.A. training.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, & Characteristics Sought
- Access to email and text;
- A valid Driver’s License and clean driving record;
- A familiarity with power and hand tools;
- Sitting, standing, pushing and pulling, climbing and stooping;
- Reaching with hands and arms, use of hands to finger objects and controls;
- Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds;
- Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision;
- Reading of written, printed and/or computer screen data;
- Willingness to work indoors and outside;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- A positive attitude and energy, with an inspiring, forward thinking, empathetic, and collaborative style, exhibiting an openness to many perspectives;
