The Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare
Shakespeare & Company is seeking Non-Union Actors/Teaching Artists for our 2024 Northeast Regional Touring production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare.
Auditions*: August 5 – 7, 2023
Rehearsals Begin: January 3, 2024
Touring Dates: February – May 18, 2024
How to Audition
Option 1: In-Person Audition
When: Saturday, August 5 – Monday, August 7
Where: Shakespeare & Company, 70 Kemble St. Lenox, MA
How: e-mail khenderson@shakespeare.org for more information about the tour and to get an audition slot. Please include your headshot/resume all in one combined PDF file.
What: Prepare one Shakespeare monologue (Verse is encouraged but not required) around 2 mins in length. Please choose a piece that you connect with regardless of character age or gender.
Option 2: Digital Submission
When: Submissions are due no later than 12 pm Monday, August 7. Submissions received after that point will not be considered.

How: email khenderson@shakespeare.org with your headshot/resume all in one combined PDF file, and an Unlisted YouTube or Vimeo link to your audition piece.
*You may be asked to have a live Zoom callback, or invited to a callback at the company in Lenox, Mass., if this is something you are able to do.
