Jenifer Salzberg is a commercial litigator with broad experience in state and federal courts in New York and throughout the United States, as well as in domestic and international arbitrations. Jen has also represented clients in investigations conducted by regulatory authorities.
Jen’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including business and contract litigation. Jen has successfully represented public and private companies and their management in litigation involving a wide range of corporate governance, securities and competition issues, including claims involving partnership disputes, breach of contract, fiduciary duty and fraud. Jen has also regularly served as appellate counsel after adverse rulings from trial courts; she has won full reversals of unfavorable rulings from the First Department and the New York Court of Appeals.
Jen began her legal career at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where she worked on cases including claims of monopolization of cable television markets; breach of contract against a news magazine and its reporter brought by a source; claims against a Big Four accounting firm arising from the collapse of a significant public company; and litigation between a Governor and Legislature concerning the state budget.
Jen lives in New York City and Egremont, MA, with her husband and two children. She holds a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in Newark (1997) and a B.A. with honors from Washington University (1994).
