Behind the Curtain Talks

Led by Shakespearean scholar Ann Berman, Behind the Curtain talks are free to the public and feature directors, cast, and design team members as guests. Held on Saturdays in the Spring and Summer, they explore various themes presented during the season.

  • March 8, 10:30 am in Studio 3 at the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre – Macbeth with directors Kirstin Daniel and Kevin G. Coleman. Tickets

  • May 3, 10:30 am in the Jane Iredale Lobby at the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre –  Romeo & Juliet with directors Jonathan Epstein and Kevin G. Coleman. Tickets

  • June 21, 10:30 am, outdoors at the Rose Footprint Theatre – The Victim with director Daniel Gidron. Tickets

Merry Wanderers Guided Tours

Shakespeare & Company’s General Manager Steve Ball and his canine companion, Willie, lead weekly walking tours on Thursday mornings from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in July and August.

These two-hour experiences offer a first-hand look at what makes theater happen, from the page to the stage. All Merry Wanderers’ Guided Tours are held from July 3 through August 28. Tickets are $15 or $8 for students.
