Macbeth: Open-caption Performances

Shakespeare & Company presents two opencaption performances of Macbeth, featuring the Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare. Open captioning features a large projection screen above the stage, displaying the text the actors are reciting via “supertitles.”  They are accessible to Deaf or hard-of-hearing audience members.

About Macbeth

The Northeast Regional Tour of Shakespeare unleashes the dark and powerful tale of Shakespeare’s Macbeth: a tale of murder, madness and magic begins as Macbeth is promised a golden future as ruler of Scotland by supernatural forces. Spurred on by his wife, he murders the king to ensure his ambitions come true. But he soon learns the meaning of greed: killing once, he must kill again and again, while the dead return to haunt him.
