SCHEDULE: weekly variable schedule Tuesday through Saturday; Mondays off
SALARY: $18.00 per hour with local housing available

Position Summary
Reporting to the Patron Services Manager, the Box Office Manager shall work on a varied, six-day-per-week schedule as per published schedules, assisting with audience services and control in the Box Office. The employee shall provide assistance with leadership in AudienceView training and use, patron and employee conflict resolution, troubleshooting ticket orders, and cash management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Answering the Box Office phone
- Filling orders by using Shakespeare & Company’s online ticketing system
- Maintaining Shakespeare & Company’s patron database on the same system
- Mailing Shakespeare & Company’s season information
- Training new employees
- Taking a leadership role in daily and other financial reporting
As a member of the Patron Services Department, all staff shall make themselves available for general work calls or other duties as directed by their Supervisor (provided such additional duties fall within the typical work week), including necessary errands, Box Office, concessions, house management, and parking.

This position will require a familiarity with Microsoft Office; sitting, standing, and stooping; reaching with hands and arms; use of hands to finger objects and controls; lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds; close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision; and reading of written, printed and/or computer screen data.
