Liam Castellan

Liam joined Shakespeare & Company in 2023. His role supports the entire Development department, with a particular focus on the donor database, including gift processing, acknowledgment letters, and donor listings. He has served in administrative roles at Barrington Stage Company, Hedgerow Theatre, Curio Theatre Company, and the Indiana University Auditorium. He has a B.Sci. in Theatre from Northwestern University and an MFA in Directing from Indiana University Bloomington with a concentration in Arts Management.

Liam is an Associate Member of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC), a Member of the Dramatists Guild, and co-moderator of the Berkshire Voices playwright group (a program of Great Barrington Public Theater). Cardinal Stage commissioned and premiered his site-specific audio drama “Predisposed to Violins: a Sherlock Holmes Adventure” in 2021 in two city parks in Bloomington, Indiana. He has directed widely in both Indiana and the Philadelphia area. He has two beagles named Bert and Ernie, who would prefer he stay home with them instead of leaving the house to see plays.
