Please join us for an afternoon of remembrance as we celebrate a life boldly and tenaciously embraced — that of the inimitable Tina Packer.
Our dear friend and inspiration, Tina shaped generations of artists and audiences with her passion, intellect, curiosity, and boundless generosity of spirit.
On this day, we will gather in the Tina Packer Playhouse and the surrounding Rose Meadow. The program will include readings, reflections, and shared memories offered by Company artists, friends, and members of Tina’s family — voices that were touched, inspired, and transformed by her presence.
A special Maypole Elizabethan dance choreographed by Susan Dibble will honor Tina’s deep love of classical Elizabethan tradition and joyful celebration. In addition, we invite anyone who would like to share a memory, story, or reflection about Tina to email it to rememberingtina@shakespeare.org.
Please reserve your seat in the theater, as space is limited.
