This program was designed for high school students who are looking to begin or continue their actor training. These young actors work on voice, movement, text, scene work, and more, often finding what they haven’t found elsewhere before. Classes meet twice a week. Auditions are required.
In an ensemble guided by Shakespeare & Company Education Directors and Teaching Artists, participants are led through theater activities encouraging them to discover the themes, characters, and stories that resonate with them.
Participants actively engage in the creation of a performance piece, using Shakespeare’s plays and poetry as the foundation.
