Madeleine Rose Maggio has performed on the Shakespeare & Company mainstage as: Nurse, Romeo and Juliet;  Adriana, The Comedy of Errors; Hippolyta/Snout, A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Don John, Much Ado About Nothing; Robert Shallow/Bardolph: Merry Wives. At the Mount as: Longaville/Jaquenetta, Love’s Labor’s Lost; and Helena/Cobweb, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And Lady Capulet/ Benvolio, Romeo & Juliet: Shakespeare & Company’s Northeast Regional Tour 2017. She has thoroughly enjoyed being in every year of the Jane Austen holiday shows at the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre. Madeleine works most of the year in the Education department and is very proud of her work in the Fall Festival of Shakespeare, Shakespeare & the Courts and Shakespeare & Young Company. She has been a teacher trainee with Shakespeare & Company’s Center for Actor Training, focusing on clown and movement and started teaching movement in the 2025 Summer Shakespeare Intensive. She attended the two-year professional course at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and studied at The Second City in Chicago.
