Jess Diaz Griffin is a Latina theater artist originally from Port Chester, N.Y., and holds a dual degree in Theatre Education, having studied at NYU and Manhattanville College.  An actor, director, educator and administrator, she has worked locally at Barrington Stage Company, WAM, Berkshire Theatre Group, Chester Theatre, and is now happy to add Shakespeare & Company to the list. Barrington Stage: Camelot (Associate Dir.),  A New Brain (Asst. Dir.), 10×10 New Play Festival 2024 (Asst. Dir.), Playwright Mentoring Project, various MTC cabarets and showcases. Jess was a Resident Director at The Cumberland County Playhouse, where she directed the Tennessee Regional Premiere of Matilda. She has directed at the White Plains Performing Arts Center, Dollywood, Norwegian Cruise Line and more.
