Claire F. Martin is a director, playwright, actor, and dramaturg, specializing in classical theater and literary adaptation. Based in Atlanta, Claire is the artistic director of Belle Esprit, a feminist theater collective. Recent acting credits include: Cressida in Troilus and Cressida (Atlanta Shakespeare Company), Arabella in Arabella (Belle Esprit), Anne de Burgh in Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (Shakespeare & Company). Her recent directing credits include: Love’s Labor’s Lost (University of Washington), Arabella, A Tale of Two Cities, and Doom Macbeth (Belle Esprit), and Romeo and Juliet (Sweet Tea Shakespeare).
