Shakespeare & Company seeks seasonal support for its Patron Services efforts – House Managers, Box Office and Concessions employees.

Reporting to the Patron Services Manager, the Patron Services Associate shall work on a varied, six-day-per-week schedule as per published schedules, including box office using AudienceView, house management, and concessions using Square to support activities at Shakespeare & Company’s two outdoor stages and two indoor stages.
Tasks can include:
- Answering the Box Office phone
- Filling orders by using Shakespeare & Company’s online ticketing system
- Maintain Shakespeare & Company’s database on the same system
- Scanning patron tickets
- Selling food and drink at the concessions stand
- Driving company golf cart for outdoor shows
As a member of the Patron Services Department, all staff shall make themselves available for general work calls or other duties as directed by their Supervisor (provided such additional duties fall within the typical work week), including necessary errands, Box Office, concessions, house management, and parking.

This position will require a familiarity with Microsoft Office; sitting, standing, and stooping; reaching with hands and arms; use of hands to finger objects and controls; lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds; close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision; and reading of written, printed and/or computer screen data.
Dates are early June through September/October, 2024. Salary $16.00 per hour.
